I’m in an offer/counter-offer pit with Fannie Mae, attempting to buy a foreclosed property for a deal that both fits my budget and allows me to live comfortably with the “as-is” terms of sale, and what do you do? YOU, KINJA DEALS, tell me that Horizon: Zero Dawn, a game I have been wanting to buy since it came out is on sale on Amazon...
killing robo-dinosaurs with a bow and arrow? SIGN ME UP!
I am weak, Oppo... weak.
At least I checked the Playstation Store before I clicked check out on Amazon, it’s $0.44 cheaper direct from Sony ;)
the creature design in this game is just so sweet...
and the game play is pretty damn good too, by all accounts.

I see deals pop up but I’m always like, “there’s always some power pack or USB cable or whatever other thing on sale all the time, I don’t need this now .”

Is $50 going to sink your house-buying plans?

No it’s not, But I’m a cheap bastard and the idea of buying a house seems like I should be depriving myself of other things... first time home-ownership (potential) is a kick in the head...

yeah, I rarely fall for it, but damnit, I’ve wanted this game for a while now.

not to mention, if we DO end up buying this house, (and we’re going to buy *A* house soon, if it’s not this one...) I won’t have any time to play for a couple months anyway, while shit gets straightened out and moved and new sheep are brought in and ahhhH! so many things to do! I should be talking to the Home Inspector right now...
